A Brief Biography
- 1967 – born in Guelph Ontario
- 1967 – moved to Kingston two weeks later, with some help from mom and dad
- 1974 – moved, again with the family, to Amherst Island, 20km west of Kingston
- 1985 – graduated as Ontario Scholar from Napanee District Secondary School
- 1989 – graduated Bachelor of Arts Honours from Queen’s University
- 1992 – moved to Vancouver, soaked up the mountains, ocean and greenery, and formed a rock band called Moist. As a member of that band, won two Juno Awards, was presented with three multi-platinum album awards and two SOCAN Number One song awards
- 1996 – moved to Montreal, experienced the chaos and culture, practiced French and lived life as member of a popular rock band
- 2000 – moved to Toronto, absorbed the mix of corporate and indie, put band on hold and focused on song craft and production
- 2001 – co-produced David Usher’s album Morning Orbit, winner of the 2002 Pop Album of the Year Juno
- 2005 – began a career in corporate team building and as a motivational speaker, and created live karaoke act Rock Star Live
- 2008 – became regional director of corporate team building company, Rock the Stars
- 2017 – married fellow musician and educator, Katherine Heikkila
- 2020 – became a father to future a genuinely wonderful human and future campaign manager
- 2023 – moved back to Kingston, embraced the history and vibrancy and felt embraced back. Home at last.
- 2025 – received degree from St. Lawrence College, and licensed as Journeyman Electrician
- 2026 – ran for Kingston City Council, hoping my experience will allow me to give back to the community that has given me so much.
